Get Rooted is a community Bible reading challenge where you read one chapter of the Bible per day alongside friends and small groups. Follow a guided reading plan, track your progress, earn badges, and stay rooted in God's Word — together.

Browse the Active Challenges on the home page, tap on a challenge that interests you, and press "Join Challenge." You can then optionally join or create a group within that challenge for discussion and accountability.

Yes, a free account is required to track your progress, join challenges and groups, use the prayer journal, and chat with your group. Sign up takes less than a minute.

Yes! Get Rooted is completely free. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, or hidden fees. Our mission is to help people read the Bible together.

No problem! You can catch up by reading multiple chapters, or simply continue from where the schedule is. The goal is consistent engagement, not perfection. Your streak will reset, but you can always build it back up.

Get Rooted offers multiple translations including ESV, NIV, NLT, KJV, NKJV, AMP, and more. You can switch translations at any time while reading.

Groups let you read alongside friends, family, or your church community. Each group has its own chat where you can discuss the reading, share encouragement, and hold each other accountable. Groups are optional — you can also read on your own.

The prayer journal is your private space to track your prayer life. Log daily prayers, track your prayer streak, and look back on how God has been faithful. Your prayer journal is completely private and only visible to you.

As you read consistently, you'll earn badges for milestones like completing your first chapter, building reading streaks, finishing challenges, and more. Check your Stats page to see your progress and earned badges.

Yes! Get Rooted is available on the App Store for iPhone. You can also use it as a web app at getrootedchallenge.com on any device — it works great on phones, tablets, and computers.

When you first open the app, you'll be asked to allow notifications. You can also enable them later by tapping the bell icon in the top navigation bar. Notifications remind you to complete your daily reading.

Custom challenges are coming soon! For now, join one of the active challenges curated by the Get Rooted team. Each challenge walks through a book of the Bible at a pace of one chapter per day.
